Kayaking & Mods Page

Inshore kayaking is one of my favorite things to do.  It's a great way to fish, clam, crab, and just plain get close to the water. Going out at night is like having your personal aquarium.  Below are a few projects that I have worked on over the years to make the kayaking trip a little more enjoyable.

Kayak Lights

Flounder gigging as a kid was one of my favorite outings.  I thought I could scale things down for a kayak and this took me through a number of designs.  Here are some of the designs I came up with and though I would share for ideas and lessons learned etc..  The first one is probably a what not to do.  Click on the image to see the full description.  Enjoy
